The case for and against

Updated Oct 14, 2026

Bull case

Allot is benefiting from strong SECaaS momentum, with 1Q26 SECaaS ARR up 59% year over year and SECaaS revenue up 71% to $8.7 million, now 33% of total revenue, showing that its CSP-led security model is scaling effectively. The company also beat expectations on revenue, operating income, and free cash flow, posting $26.4 million of revenue, $2.6 million of operating income, a 10% operating margin, and $10 million of free cash flow, while management guided to >40% SECaaS revenue growth in FY26 and reiterated FY26 revenue of $113 million-$117 million. Supportive factors include improving profitability from operating leverage, stable product demand driven by Terra III wins, and a compressed valuation versus peers, which suggests the market may be underappreciating the durability of its growth and earnings inflection.

Bear case

Allot is exposed to a customer-concentration risk that weighs on fundamentals, with the top 10 customers representing 46% of revenue in 1Q26 and 43% in CY24, while Network Intelligence still accounted for 64% of CY24 revenue. Its SECaaS growth is not yet broad-based, remaining dependent on a few CSP partners and promotional activity, so any slowdown in Verizon adoption, partner churn, or weaker deal flow could hit revenue, ARR, and operating results disproportionately. Even with AI-driven demand tailwinds and developing-market opportunity, profitability and execution remain vulnerable to lower CapEx budgets, subcontractor dependency, and modest grant support, including just $0.5 million from the Israel Innovation Authority in CY24.
