The case for and against

Updated Oct 22, 2026

Bull case

CI&T is positioned favorably because its AI-led operating model is driving stronger organic growth, with FY26 revenue guidance raised to $555.8 million-$575.3 million and 13.5%-17.5% organic growth, while 3Q26 revenue of at least $145.7 million also exceeded expectations. Its value proposition is strengthening as more than 80% of employees now leverage AI, gross margin improved sequentially to 32.4% from 30.6%, and management highlighted roughly 3-to-15 points of gross margin uplift on new-model engagements, supporting a path to EBITDA expansion. The company also benefits from a deep enterprise base and broad-based demand across Brazil, North America, and LATAM, with top 10 customers growing 19% y/y and core verticals such as financial services and retail & industrial goods continuing to grow strongly.

Bear case

CI&T is facing a negative setup because its strong 14.1% constant-currency growth and 40% pipeline expansion are not translating cleanly into profits, as 2Q adjusted EBITDA margin fell to 15.2% and FY26 guidance now implies a 15-17% margin after FX and investment-related cuts. The company also appears to be outgrowing its monetization ability, with revenue growth running at roughly half of pipeline growth, conversion still near one-third on a constant-currency basis, and headcount up 16% y/y despite only modest improvement in revenue per employee. Added pressure from Brazil payroll tax changes, heavy Brazil concentration, and a highly competitive IT services market increases the risk that profitable growth remains elusive even as the stock already trades at only a modest discount to peers.
