The case for and against

Updated Oct 14, 2026

Bull case

Monday.Com is attractive because its core Work OS combines no-code/low-code flexibility, workflow automation, and system integration with a broadening product suite that is gaining traction in CRM, Dev, and Service, expanding its addressable market well beyond traditional project management. Financially, it delivered ~$364M in 2Q revenue, a 22% year-over-year increase and a ~2.5% beat, while enterprise momentum remained strong with 4,834 $50k+ ARR customers and 2,019 $100k+ ARR customers growing 31% and 37%, respectively. The outlook is further supported by AI ARR doubling quarter over quarter to about ~$20M, rising to 17% of net new ARR, and management’s higher FY26 operating margin guide of ~16% backed by about $100M in annualized savings that can be reinvested into AI and go-to-market expansion.

Bear case

Monday.Com is viewed negatively because the 2Q revenue beat did not translate into higher full-year expectations, as FY26 guidance was held flat and implied 2H revenue effectively gives back the entire beat while 3Q revenue guidance sits below Street. Core demand signals are softening modestly, with NRR down to 109% and expected to end at 108%, billings growth below estimates, and total adds down 38% Y/Y, suggesting weaker expansion and cross-sell momentum. Despite AI products contributing 17% of 2Q NNARR, the company still faces heavy competition, limited operating margin scale, and execution risk from a 20% RIF, upmarket sales transition, and FX costs that pressure margins.
