What Are Prediction Markets on Aries?
Prediction markets let you trade on the outcome of a real-world event. Each market asks a defined yes-or-no question, with separate Yes and No contracts. Prices can reflect market-implied probabilities, but they may be inaccurate and do not guarantee an outcome.
We’re starting with contracts on the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, taking place November 3.
Event contracts involve substantial risk and are not suitable for everyone. You can lose the entire amount paid plus fees. Limited liquidity may prevent you from offsetting a position before settlement.
Who Runs the Exchange?
Aries prediction markets run on ForecastEx LLC, an affiliate of Interactive Brokers. ForecastEx is a CFTC-designated contract market and registered derivatives clearing organization.
Access is offered through Aries Futures LLC, a CFTC-registered introducing broker and NFA member, with customer accounts carried by Advantage Futures LLC, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant.
Where Can You Trade Them?
Prediction markets are available in Aries Mobile, the same app used for stocks, options and ETFs. Eligible customers must open and receive approval for a separate event contract account through Aries Futures LLC.
Event contracts are held separately from securities accounts offered through RAM Financial LLC. Having an Aries securities account does not automatically establish eligibility to trade event contracts.
What’s Next: Prediction Markets in Aries Infinite
We plan to bring prediction markets to Aries Infinite, allowing eligible customers to view event contract prices alongside charts, news and positions on a customizable trading canvas.
Can You Build on Aries Prediction Markets?
Yes. The finance.dev Prediction API provides contract discovery, historical prices, streaming market data and order management for your own tools, dashboards and models.
Trading requires an approved, eligible event contract account and appropriate authorization.
We also plan to support event contracts through the Aries MCP server, allowing compatible AI tools to access market information and submit orders subject to customer authorization, account permissions and applicable restrictions.
Trade what you build.
How to Get Started
Download or update Aries Mobile through the App Store or Google Play.
Open Prediction Markets and complete the event contract account application and required agreements.
Once approved, fund your event contract account.
Review the available markets, contract terms, fees and risks before deciding whether to place an order.
Building instead? Explore Finance.Dev to get started with event contract data.
Who can trade prediction markets on Aries?
Eligible U.S. customers with an approved Aries Futures event contract account. Restrictions depend on the customer, location and particular contract. See our event contract disclosures.
Which prediction markets are available?
At launch, Aries offers contracts on the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. Check the app for current listings and availability.
Are Aries prediction markets regulated?
Yes. Contracts are listed and cleared by ForecastEx, a CFTC-designated contract market and registered derivatives clearing organization. Access is offered through Aries Futures LLC, a CFTC-registered introducing broker and NFA member.
Can I exit before a contract settles?
ForecastEx allows customers to offset a position by acquiring the opposite contract for the same event. This is a separate purchase that costs money and may incur fees. Available liquidity and prices may prevent an offset when you want one.
Can I connect my own tools or AI agents?
Yes. The finance.dev Prediction API supports event contract data and trading through your own tools, subject to account eligibility, authorization and permissions.
