The case for and against

Updated Oct 14, 2026

Bull case

DarioHealth is attractive because its vertically integrated platform combines FDA-cleared connected devices, proprietary data, and AI-driven coaching, giving it a defensible edge in chronic care management and enabling more personalized, higher-engagement outcomes than software-only peers. Its commercial momentum is improving, with 116mn covered lives through Solera and Amwell, 175mn+ lives targeted via a major hospital network, $13mn of committed/late-stage ARR, and a $127mn 2026 pipeline that supports expected revenue acceleration into 2H and beyond. Financially, 65% gross margin, 80% B2B gross margin for the 10th straight quarter, and management’s path toward ~10% OpEx reductions in 2027 and CF breakeven by end of 2027 strengthen the investment case.

Bear case

DarioHealth is facing a weak fundamental setup as 2Q revenue of $5.2M missed the $5.7M estimate and adjusted EBITDA loss of ($5.3M) also came in worse than expected, underscoring persistent operating leverage issues. Management highlighted $13M in new contracted ARR, but implementation is not expected to begin generating revenue until 4Q and ramp through 2027, leaving near-term growth visibility limited amid soft B2B and B2C demand. The bearish view is reinforced by the risk of churn, constrained investment due to cost management, and the need for potentially dilutive capital raises after significant pressure on shares.
