Bull case

EOG Resources is a US shale producer with a strong and diversified portfolio in several key shale plays, including the Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford, and Utica Shale. With a strong resource base estimate of over 12BBoe and robust economics in the Delaware Basin, EOG is poised for continued success in the future as it increases its LNG and AI/datacenter demand. While there may be risks such as commodity price declines, EOG's technical leadership and exceptional returns throughout commodity cycles make it a strong investment option.

Bear case
