The case for and against

Updated Oct 17, 2026

Bull case

Gloo Holdings is attractive fundamentally because it sits at the center of a two-sided, compounding network linking 3,000+ active NCPs with 140,000+ churches and ministry leaders, which lowers acquisition costs, raises switching costs, and deepens monetization as each side of the platform attracts the other. Its operating momentum also supports the bullish view, with revenue and EBITDA beating consensus by about 6% and 3%, gross margin expanding to 36.0% from 32.3%, and management raising 2026 revenue outlook to $200M while guiding to roughly flat full-year operating expenses. The company’s 30+ customers with $1M+ ACV, first $10M+ customer, five acquisitions, and strong cross-sell “land, expand, and expand” motion point to a sizable runway for higher contract values and durable growth.

Bear case

Gloo Holdings is viewed negatively because its headline growth is distorted by serial M&A, with ~56% of 2025 revenue coming from acquisitions and about half of 2026 incremental growth also expected from inorganic sources, making underlying demand hard to verify. Platform revenue reached $23.6M (+170% Y/Y, -2% Q/Q), but the sequential decline tied to Outreach seasonality, a complex mix of 20+ businesses, and expected gross margins of only 41% in 2026 suggest a lower-quality, services-heavy model rather than clean software expansion. The company is also burning cash, carrying about $33M of cash versus ~34M of debt, and faces customer concentration risk as two customers approach ~$10M each, leaving equity dilution and financing dependence as ongoing overhangs.
