The case for and against

Updated Oct 14, 2026

Bull case

LCI Industries is benefiting from share gains, product innovation, and diversification that are allowing it to outperform a weak RV market and expand margins even as industry shipments soften. Q2 towable RV OEM content per unit rose 11% to $5,831, the five newest launches are generating an annualized revenue run rate above $270 million, and Aftermarket sales increased 11% while OEM sales held up through a 17% Adjacent Industries gain. Adjusted Q2 EPS of $2.70 beat expectations, and adjusted EBIT margin expanded 140 bps to 9.3%, supported by cost cuts, facility consolidations, a >4% dividend yield, and a $300 million buyback authorization.

Bear case

LCI Industries is facing a weaker fundamental backdrop as its outlook was cut for '26 to EPS of $8.25-$8.75 from $8.75-$9.25, reflecting lower RV shipments of 280K-300K, down marine production, and a modeled 3% sales decline. Although the company is benefiting from aftermarket growth, cost-cutting, and facility consolidation of 8–10 sites this year after 5 in '25, those self-help gains are only partly offsetting softer end-market demand and July sales that fell 4% to $315mn. The negative view is reinforced by macro and industry risks including higher interest rates, rising gasoline and input costs, supply constraints, tight labor markets, and weaker U.S. consumer activity that could pressure growth and margins.
