The case for and against

Updated Oct 15, 2026

Bull case

LeMaitre Vascular is well positioned by its durable pricing power, with an 8% pricing tailwind in the quarter, high-single-digit pricing trends historically, and price floors now applied to about 55% of products, supporting gross margin expansion to 72.7%. Its core growth engines are also strengthening, as 1Q26 revenue rose to $66.6 million with 10% organic growth, Artegraft surged 36% worldwide, and international regions such as EMEA and APAC grew 19.6% and 18.1%, respectively. The company’s outlook is further reinforced by disciplined execution, including operating-margin guidance near 29% for FY/26, adjusted EPS of $2.93 to $3.08, $367.2 million in cash and marketable securities, and strong free cash flow and buyback capacity.

Bear case

LeMaitre Vascular is facing a fragile risk/reward setup because nearly 40% of revenue has historically come from outside the U.S., where MDR compliance and securing/maintaining CE marks remain uncertain despite submissions to notified bodies. Its growth strategy also depends on acquiring limited, appropriately sized open vascular surgery targets, so a lack of deal execution could slow sales expansion. Operationally, tissue processing, preservation, and manufacturing disruptions could hurt results, even after Q1 revenue of $66.6 million rose 11% reported and 10% organically, underscoring that solid growth is still exposed to execution and regulatory pressure.
