The case for and against

Updated Oct 15, 2026

Bull case

Park Aerospace is supported by a durable two-engine growth story in commercial aerospace and defense, with FQ2’27 revenue up 27% y/y to $20.8M, adjusted EBITDA up 55% to $5.3M, and gross margin expanding to 34.3%. Its outlook is strengthened by sole-source or highly sticky positions on key programs such as PAC-3 Patriot and GE Aerospace’s LEAP/A320neo platform, where management lifted the long-term GE-related target to $62.3M annually despite a modest FY27 guide trim to $32.0M–$35.0M. The company also has a strong balance sheet, ending FQ2’27 with $114.8M in cash and marketable securities, no debt, and a major Tulsa plant expected to triple solution-treating capacity and roughly double hot-melt prepreg and film adhesive capacity.

Bear case

Park Aerospace is facing a bearish setup because its near-term growth outlook is modest, with F3Q27 sales guided to just $21.0M–$22.5M and adjusted EBITDA of $5.0M–$5.8M, while FY27 GE Aerospace program sales guidance was cut to $32.0M–$35.0M from $34.0M–$38.0M. The company’s earnings profile is fragile due to extreme customer concentration, as the top ten customers accounted for 64%–69% of sales over the last three completed fiscal years and GE Aerospace programs contributed roughly 40% of FY25 revenue through MRAS. In addition, single-site manufacturing, specialized single-sourced inputs, geopolitical exposure to China, and declining Business Aircraft sales make margin pressure and execution risk likely to outweigh the benefits of its niche positioning.
