Bull case

SkyWater Technology is a pure-play technology foundry that offers advanced semiconductor development and manufacturing services from its fabrication facility in Bloomington, Minnesota and advanced packaging services from its Kissimmee Florida facility. With a strong focus on newer technologies such as superconductors, 3DSoC, Silicon Photonics, and MEMS, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for these technologies. Its recent solid financial performance, which includes a strong 3Q25 beat and signing of four new Quantum Computing customers, further supports our positive outlook on the company's potential for revenue and margin growth.

Bear case

SkyWater Technology is expected to struggle in the near term due to its high debt load and lower-than-expected revenue. Their Fab 25 facility is driving near-term gross margin upside and a potential lift in FY26, but with constrained demand and lower-than-expected revenue, this is not enough to offset the company's overall financial challenges.
