The case for and against

Updated Jun 2, 2026

Bull case

U.S. Gold is a Buy with a PT of $27.50, as their DCF model for the CK Gold Project has resulted in a valuation of $468.4M, with an additional $50.0M added for their Challis, Keystone, and Orevada projects. With a cash balance of $36.1M and an upcoming FS for CK Gold, U.S. Gold is well-positioned for longer-term value creation and mitigating community impacts through its recent acquisition of nearby real estate. Risks to achieving the PT include potential delays, underperformance, and negative regulatory decisions.

Bear case

U.S. Gold is expected to produce over 700,000 ounces of gold, 1.9 million ounces of silver, and 186.7 million pounds of copper over its 11-year mine life at the CK Gold Project. However, the December 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate showed only measured and indicated resources, with inferred resources only accounting for 28% of total resources, indicating potential uncertainty and risk in the project's overall resource potential. Additionally, the updated feasibility study only forecasts production of approximately 85,000 GEOs per year, which may not meet expectations for long-term profitability.
