The case for and against

Updated Oct 21, 2026

Bull case

LifeMD is supported by a stronger distribution model, as the exclusive AT&T collaboration can funnel 29 million eligible customers into its platform without incremental acquisition cost and could begin contributing meaningfully to topline revenue in 4Q26. Its core weight management engine remains powerful, with about 108,000 subscribers at end-2Q26, roughly 95% of new patients starting branded GLP-1 therapy, and a jump in multi-month package selection from about 25% year to date before the pricing change to about 85% afterward, improving retention and lifetime value. Growth is also broadening beyond obesity through women’s health, where the patient base rose 134% sequentially, and the company’s expanding insurance and Medicare access, plus a pipeline of 30+ products by YE 2026, should support a longer-duration growth story.

Bear case

LifeMD is viewed negatively because its valuation depends on a relatively modest 2.0x EV/revenue multiple applied to projected sales per share of $4.51 for 3Q26 to 2Q27, implying limited upside if execution falters. Fundamental concerns center on slower-than-expected telehealth revenue growth, difficulty acquiring and retaining patients, and uncertainty around reaching profitability despite its integrated pharmacy, care center, and AI-enabled platform. The outlook is further pressured by intense competition and dilution risk, both of which could erode shareholder value even if the company maintains its direct-to-patient healthcare model.
